The Ministry of Petroleum Resources has granted VROC approval to conduct a pilot in the Nigerian Oil and Gas industry, which will be part of their Technology Adaptation program.

This program ensures that all technology deployed in the local industry is fit-for-purpose, safe, reliable and environmentally friendly. This is a significant milestone in the use of VROC’s AI Predictive Maintenance and Process Optimisation SaaS solution in the country, a process which commenced in 2019.

The VROC Platform will empower maintenance and operations teams with advance predictions ahead of critical equipment failures or faults, along with AI insights to improve efficiencies and compliance with environmental regulations.

We look forward to sharing the chosen pilot project in the coming weeks, and working with our local partner Habrams, the chosen facility and the Department of Petroleum Resources on the ground breaking AI project over the coming year.
